Miss. Carol

I am a stay at home Mom of two awesome kids and I love to play.  At the playground, it is a common occurrence to be recruited (either by my own children or their friends) to be the zoo keeper, dragon, octopus or what-have-you in their game of pretend.  For most of my adult life my career has involved working with children in some capacity from swim instructor, teacher, nanny, tutor, and most now "mom".  

"When I engage in play with my kids a kind of magic tends to happen. I marvel at their creativity, I laugh more, and I play more. They are happy and I am happy. This is never more true than when I give my kids inspiration for creative play and the freedom to do it their own way. But as Moms and Dads we are also busy with that grown-up "stuff" that can sometimes get in the way of play and we could use some help. My inspiration for starting Fixed for Fun was to offer parents play-filled opportunities for their children with less stress and more fun."
